Keep these documents ready before you open the CAT 2026 form. Having scans at hand makes registration quick, and the same list is useful again during admission rounds at the IIMs.
Documents needed at registration
- Recent passport-size photograph (scanned, in the prescribed format)
- Scanned signature
- Graduation marks or CGPA details, and the final-year status if you are still studying
- Category details for SC, ST, OBC-NCL, EWS or PwD, if applicable
- A working email ID and mobile number for verification
- Debit card, credit card or net banking for the fee
Documents needed on exam day
- Printed admit card
- Original photo ID (Aadhaar, PAN, Passport, Voter ID or Driving Licence)
- One passport-size photo, same as the one uploaded
Documents needed later for admission
- Graduation mark sheets and degree or provisional certificate
- Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets
- Category or PwD certificate in the prescribed format
- Work-experience proof, if the programme asks for it
- CAT scorecard
