The CAT 2026 admit card will be available from November 4, 2026 on iimcat.ac.in. It shows your slot, test centre and reporting time, and you cannot enter the exam hall without it.
How to download the CAT 2026 admit card
- 1Visit iimcat.ac.in on or after November 4, 2026.
- 2Click the admit card download link on the homepage.
- 3Log in with your registered email ID and password.
- 4Download the admit card and take a clear printout.
Details printed on the admit card
- Name, registration number and photograph
- Exam date: November 29, 2026
- Slot (1, 2 or 3)
- Test centre name and address
- Reporting time and gate closing time
- Exam day instructions
What to carry
- Printed admit card
- Original government photo ID (Aadhaar, PAN, Passport, Voter ID or Driving Licence)
- One passport-size photo matching the one uploaded at registration
What not to carry
- Mobile phones, smartwatches or any electronic device
- Bags, books or notes
- External calculators (an on-screen calculator is given in QA)

What if my admit card has a mistake?+
Contact the CAT helpdesk listed on iimcat.ac.in before exam day and carry proof such as your ID.
Is a colour printout of the admit card necessary?+
A clear printout is enough. Make sure the photo, barcode and text are readable.
