How NDIM Started
NDIM came up in 1992, started by some senior bureaucrats and industrialists. Shri J.R. Bansal (ex-member, UPSC), Justice R.S. Sarkaria (retd. Judge, Supreme Court) and Dr. M.L. Shahare (ex-Chairman, UPSC) were among them. It's a unit of the Society for Employment and Career Counselling, a charitable education society registered since 1992. When GGSIPU started in 1999, NDIM's BBA got affiliated right then, so it's been with the university from day one. Dr. Bindu Kumar is the chairperson.
