ABES Fees
ABES Fees 2027-28: B.Tech, BCA, MCA, M.Tech and Hostel
The ₹1,81,200 table line by line, why BCA is ₹15,000 cheaper, the Working Professional total that isn't really the total, and every hostel room price
The number you're after is ₹1,81,200. That's ABES's academic fee for B.Tech, lateral entry, M.Tech and MCA, and it already has a ₹5,000 refundable deposit inside. BCA is ₹1,66,200. Why cheaper? Tuition is ₹95,000 instead of ₹1,10,000. Everything else is identical. The Working Professional route says ₹1,19,880, but three more charges sit below it on the page, so that's not what you'll pay. Hostel is extra, from ₹1,36,500 to ₹1,77,500. Oh, and ₹9,900 for the uniform. Cash only.
ABES Fees: What You Need to Know

How ABES Sets Out Its Fees
ABES does one thing we like. It shows every fee head separately, so you can see where your money goes instead of staring at one big number. Tuition is ₹1,10,000 out of ₹1,81,200. Next biggest? Career Planning and Development at ₹36,000. That's about a fifth of the bill, for placement training, whether you use it or not. Then exams ₹9,600, tech support ₹6,000, industry engagement ₹6,000, book bank ₹5,000, admission paperwork ₹3,100, insurance ₹500, and the ₹5,000 deposit. What the page never says plainly: is this per year? It reads like a yearly fee for new students, with a couple of one-time items. But ask accounts, in writing, before you assume.
Direct-admission students pay a pre-enrolment fee. ₹1,000 or ₹500 if you wrote an entrance exam, ₹2,300 or ₹1,150 if you didn't. Your category decides which.
ABES Fees by Course
Six fee tabs on the college site. Four of them show the same table.
| Course | Total Tuition Fees |
|---|---|
| B.Tech (all six branches) (6) | ₹1,81,200 |
| B.Tech lateral entry (1) | ₹1,81,200 |
| M.Tech (CSE and ECE) (2) | ₹1,81,200 |
| MCA (1) | ₹1,81,200 |
| BCA (1) | ₹1,66,200 |
| B.Tech Working Professional (CSE and ECE) (2) | ₹1,19,880 plus extras |
Every total includes ₹5,000 refundable, except Working Professional, where the deposit is listed separately. Hostel, uniform and travel aren't in any of these.
ABES Fees, Course by Course
One card per course, with every head, so you know exactly what you're paying for.
Same fee for every branch. CSE, AI-ML, Data Science, ECE, Electrical and Computer, Mechanical: all ₹1,81,200. So pick your branch for the subject and the placements. Not the price. Two lines deserve a closer look. Career Planning is ₹36,000. Industry Engagement is another ₹6,000. That's ₹42,000 a year for placement and industry stuff. Fine. But ask the placement cell what you actually get: how many hours of training, who teaches it, is it compulsory.
Add ₹9,900 for uniform and ₹1,36,500 or more for hostel. Already paid ₹20,000 or ₹12,000 in counselling? You only pay the rest.
You join in second year, so three years instead of four. The page shows the same ₹1,81,200 table. What it doesn't say is whether the one-time bits, like admission paperwork and the deposit, work the same for someone joining in second year. Ask accounts for a lateral-entry statement before you pay. Entry is through CUET (UG), with a diploma at 45% (40% for SC/ST).
Ask which charges are one-time for a second-year entrant, and what the instalment dates are.
BCA gets its own table, and it's ₹15,000 cheaper at ₹1,66,200. Look closer and the whole difference is tuition: ₹95,000 against ₹1,10,000. Every other line is the same, right down to the ₹500 insurance. So a BCA student pays the same ₹36,000 for Career Planning as a B.Tech student. Is the training the same too? Worth asking. 120 seats, through CUET (UG).
The course page doesn't clearly say how many years BCA runs. Find out, because the total depends on it.
MCA is on the same ₹1,81,200 table as B.Tech. 180 seats, through CUET (PG). One thing specific to MCA: if you come in through direct admission without GATE, there may be a stipend of ₹7,000 in year one and ₹8,000 in year two. The college doesn't say whether MCA counts or only M.Tech, so ask. And MCA's own 2025 placement numbers are the best on the site: 140 placed from 113 companies, 77.78%.
Ask if the PG stipend covers MCA, and whether it's monthly or yearly. The page doesn't say.
Same ₹1,81,200 again, for M.Tech CSE (12 seats) and M.Tech ECE (6 seats). Eighteen in total, so they fill fast. This is also where ABES has real money help. Valid GATE score? You may qualify for the AICTE and MHRD scholarship. No GATE, direct admission? There's the ₹7,000 and ₹8,000 stipend for some students. The college also says it pays toward publishing papers. Ask about all three together, because combined they can change what this degree costs you.
GATE holder? Get the national scheme amount confirmed before paying. It might cover a big part of this.
Careful with this one. The table says "grand total ₹1,19,880": tuition ₹1,10,000, tech ₹9,380, insurance ₹500. But right below, three more charges are listed separately: ₹3,100 paperwork, ₹5,000 deposit, ₹9,600 exams. Add it all up and it's ₹1,37,580. Is that the final number? Get it in writing. On the plus side, you can pay ₹9,990 a month for 12 months, which works if you're paying from your salary. 30 seats each in CSE and ECE.
₹1,37,580 is our sum, not an official total. Ask for one final figure and the instalment plan.
ABES Hostel Fees
Hostel is separate from the academic fee. These are the 2026-27 prices. Each one includes ₹500 registration, ₹3,500 laundry, food and lodging, and ₹5,000 security you get back. The bit that matters more than price: rooms go first come, first served. Cheap four-seaters and the few rooms with attached bathrooms go first. Six boys' hostels, two girls' hostels, and the girls' table only lists AC rooms. One odd thing we spotted. The campus facilities page gives slightly different ranges: boys ₹1,31,500 to ₹1,72,500 and girls ₹1,43,000 to ₹1,68,500, before the ₹5,000. Boys' numbers match once you add the deposit. The girls' top number doesn't. Ask the hostel office which one's current.
Other Charges at ABES
Stuff that isn't in the academic table, and catches families off guard on reporting day.
How to Pay ABES Fees
No cheques. No cash. Not for the academic fee. You pay online through the channel ABES publishes. The one exception is the ₹9,900 uniform, which they want in cash. Funny combination, and it trips people up, so carry the uniform money separately on reporting day. Two more rules. Only use payment details from ABES's own live page. And never send money to a personal account or an "agent". If someone WhatsApps you a bank account to "confirm your seat", it's a scam, however official it looks. Call 0120-7135112 to check before you send a rupee.
Fee Support at ABES
Straight answer: we didn't find a merit scholarship on ABES's pages. No Class 12 percentage or JEE rank that gets you a set discount. So plan for the full fee. What you can get is government scholarships you apply for yourself, plus some help for postgrads.
UP Government Scholarship
ABES posts fresh and renewal notices each session. Depends on your category, domicile, income and course.
Central schemes
On the National Scholarship Portal. Each has its own rules and dates. Do the One Time Registration first.
PM-USP Central Sector Scheme
Listed on NSP. Check current merit and income rules.
AICTE and MHRD PG scheme
For M.Tech students with a valid GATE score. Amount set nationally.
College PG stipend
₹7,000 in year one, ₹8,000 in year two, for some non-GATE direct-admission postgrads.
Research support
The college says it helps pay for publishing papers. Ask your department.
Company award
Once: a full year's tuition for two third-year Mechanical students. A one-off.
Merit waiver
Not found. Ask admissions in writing.
Government money usually lands in your bank account, months after the fee deadline. Pay the fee first. Treat any scholarship as money back.
What One Year at ABES Really Costs
Add it all up before deciding, because the academic fee is only part of it. B.Tech in an AC four-seater: ₹1,81,200 plus ₹1,48,000 plus ₹9,900 uniform. That's ₹3,39,100, and ₹10,000 of it comes back as deposits. A day scholar pays ₹1,91,100, plus whatever travel costs, which you'll have to figure out yourself since no bus fee is published. BCA in the cheapest non-AC room: ₹3,12,600. These are the numbers to put next to another college, not just tuition.
| Student | Academic | Hostel | Uniform | Total |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| B.Tech, AC four-seater | ₹1,81,200 | ₹1,48,000 | ₹9,900 | ₹3,39,100 |
| B.Tech, non-AC four-seater | ₹1,81,200 | ₹1,36,500 | ₹9,900 | ₹3,27,600 |
| B.Tech, AC double | ₹1,81,200 | ₹1,77,500 | ₹9,900 | ₹3,68,600 |
| B.Tech, day scholar | ₹1,81,200 | Nil | ₹9,900 | ₹1,91,100 plus travel |
| BCA, non-AC four-seater | ₹1,66,200 | ₹1,36,500 | ₹9,900 | ₹3,12,600 |
| BCA, day scholar | ₹1,66,200 | Nil | ₹9,900 | ₹1,76,100 plus travel |
₹10,000 comes back for hostellers, ₹5,000 for day scholars. Travel isn't in here because ABES doesn't publish it.
Where Your ₹1,81,200 Goes
About 61% is tuition. The surprise is the next line. Career Planning, ₹36,000, is around 20% of the bill. Add Industry Engagement and it's ₹42,000 a year on the career side. That's a fair thing to charge for, and ABES is more open about it than colleges that hide the same cost inside tuition. But since you're paying, use it. Find out the training schedule, the hours, who runs it, and whether attendance counts. ₹42,000 a year. Show up.
| Head | Amount | Share |
|---|---|---|
| Tuition | ₹1,10,000 | About 61% |
| Career Planning | ₹36,000 | About 20% |
| Exams | ₹9,600 | About 5% |
| Tech support | ₹6,000 | About 3% |
| Industry engagement | ₹6,000 | About 3% |
| Book bank | ₹5,000 | About 3% |
| Deposit (refundable) | ₹5,000 | About 3% |
| Admission paperwork | ₹3,100 | About 2% |
| Insurance | ₹500 | Under 1% |
Rounded. Get the ₹5,000 deposit back and your real cost is ₹1,76,200.
Is ₹1,81,200 Yearly or One-Time?
This is the biggest open question on ABES's fee page, and we're not going to pretend we know. The table is labelled as the fee for new admissions. Some lines look one-time, like the ₹3,100 paperwork and the ₹5,000 deposit. Others, like tuition and exams, look yearly. The page itself tells you to confirm whether things are annual, one-time or refundable, which kind of tells you it knows it's unclear. So do that. Ask accounts in writing: what do I pay in year one, what in year two, and do the one-time lines drop off? Without that, you can't work out a four-year cost. And four-year cost is what you should be comparing.
Counselling Fee Adjustment
Paid ₹20,000 or ₹12,000 as counselling fee? The college says you pay only the balance. So on ₹1,81,200 with ₹20,000 already paid, you owe ₹1,61,200 at reporting. Take your counselling receipt to the accounts desk and make sure the demand letter shows the deduction before you pay. People lose this every year just by forgetting the receipt, and getting it back later is a pain.
Refunds: What ABES Says
Two separate rules. Cancel your admission, and refunds follow UGC rules, which usually depend on how early you cancel. Ask for those rules in writing, because UGC has changed them over the years and the version ABES uses is what matters. Leave the hostel, and you get a pro-rata refund of security, mess and laundry for months you didn't use. Both ₹5,000 deposits, academic and hostel, are refundable. What nobody says is how long a refund takes. Ask that too.
| Situation | What ABES says | Get in writing |
|---|---|---|
| Cancel admission | UGC refund rules | The exact deduction at each stage |
| Leave hostel | Pro-rata refund of security, mess, laundry | How months are counted, how long it takes |
| Academic deposit | ₹5,000, refundable | When it's returned, any deductions |
| Hostel deposit | ₹5,000, refundable | Damage deductions, timeline |
Questions to Ask Before You Pay
| Question | Why |
|---|---|
| Is ₹1,81,200 yearly? | Can't work out four years otherwise |
| What's my exact total for my branch and route? | The table might not cover your case |
| Which hostel rooms are still free? | First come, first served |
| Will my counselling fee be deducted? | Only if you bring the receipt |
| What refund would I get if I left in August? | You want a number, not a rule |
| Is there a bus on my route? | Nothing's published |
| What does the ₹36,000 Career Planning fee get me? | It's a fifth of your bill |
Fee Compared With Other Ghaziabad Colleges
| Compare | ABES |
|---|---|
| B.Tech academic fee | ₹1,81,200 with ₹5,000 refundable |
| BCA academic fee | ₹1,66,200 with ₹5,000 refundable |
| Fee changes by branch? | No |
| Cheapest hostel | ₹1,36,500, boys' non-AC four-seater |
| Priciest hostel | ₹1,77,500, AC double |
| Uniform | ₹9,900, cash |
| Merit waiver | None published |
| Median placement | ₹4.50 LPA |
Fill the same eight lines for the other college. If fees match but their median's higher, that's a real point for them. If they don't publish a median at all, you're comparing a number with a blank.
A Word on Fee Scams
Every admission season, messages go around offering a "confirmed ABES seat" for an advance, usually to a personal account, usually with a "today only" deadline. It's fraud. Always. ABES doesn't take cash or cheques for academic fees and posts its own payment details, so anything outside that is a red flag. Same for anyone offering a direct-admission seat or scholarship for a commission. Call 0120-7135112 yourself and check every account detail on the live site.
Fee Changes You Should Expect
Everything here is the 2026-27 sheet, the latest out. For 2027-28, expect the numbers to move, probably up, with the same basic structure. In UP, fees can also be affected by the state, the Fee Fixation Committee and the university, and an autonomous college has a bit more freedom in pricing. None of that is a reason to wait. Budget with these numbers, add 5 to 10% on top, and treat the sheet on the official courses page at admission time as final.
Before You Transfer the Money
- Check the course, branch and route on your offer or allotment letter.
- Open your programme's fee tab on the college site and screenshot it with the date.
- Ask for the total payable in writing, including anything listed separately.
- Hand over your counselling receipt for the ₹20,000 or ₹12,000 deduction.
- Confirm which charges come back, and when.
- Budget hostel and the ₹9,900 cash uniform separately.
- Pay only through the official channel. Keep the receipt.
- Ask whether ₹1,81,200 repeats every year, and get the year-two figure.
