NDIM NIRF Ranking
In the NIRF India Rankings 2025 (Management), NDIM sits at rank 86 with a total score of 47.25. Back in 2018, it was in the 51-75 band. Education portals say it was 88 in 2024 and 99 in 2023, which would mean it has moved up by 2025. Still, NIRF changes its method and the number of ranked colleges every year, so compare editions carefully.
NDIM AICTE-CII Survey
NDIM's PGDM website says the AICTE-CII survey named it the Best Industry-Linked Management Institute three years running, and that this got it the Mentor Institute tag in the management category. Mind you, this award is about industry links, not about the college as a whole.
NDIM ASSOCHAM and FICCI Recognitions
ASSOCHAM called NDIM the Most Preferred B-School of the Year in the North in 2017 and 2019, and the Best B-School in India for Placement Services in 2018. NDIM also lists ASSOCHAM awards for industry-academia connect and a FICCI award for employability through industry work.
NDIM Business Standard, AIMA and Business World Rankings
Business Standard put NDIM 25th among the Best MBA Schools in June 2017, and the AIMA-Business Standard list did the same in June 2016. The Business Standard Survey 2016 placed it 12th among private B-schools. Business World had it at 15th in June 2013 and 19th in June 2012. NDIM also reports AIMA-IMRB rankings from 2011 to 2017.
NDIM AICTE Approval, NBA Accreditation and MBA Equivalence
AICTE approves the PGDM, and year-wise approval letters are on the AICTE Approval page, with 2025-26 as the latest one listed. The PGDM is shown as NBA accredited, the Association of Indian Universities has given it MBA equivalence, and NDIM says its programmes are accredited by ASIC, UK, with Premier College Status.
NDIM GGSIPU Affiliation and A+ Rating
BBA and BCA are affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. The ndim.edu.in website reports an A+ rating from the State Fee Regulatory Committee, the Joint Assessment Committee and the Academic Audit of GGSIPU. It also shows ISO 9001:2015 and AISHE 2019-20 certification, and a Best BBA Institute title from Business Sphere.
NDIM IIRF Ranking
Education portals put NDIM at #48 in management in the IIRF rankings. NDIM's own websites don't mention this, so check the IIRF site for the edition and category before you quote it.
Why NDIM Shows Several Rankings, Not One
There is no one NDIM rank that covers everything. Here is why.
- Different courses: the NIRF Management rank is for the management listing, not for BBA or BCA.
- Different years: most media rankings are from 2012 to 2019, while NIRF is from 2025.
- Different categories: being #1 for industry linkage is not the same as being #1 as a college.
- Approvals aren't rankings: AICTE, NBA and GGSIPU affiliation confirm standards, but they don't rank anyone.
How Good Is NDIM's Standing?
NDIM has a verified NIRF 2025 rank, a long run of AICTE approval and NBA accreditation for the PGDM, and decent reported placement numbers. That makes it a fair option to shortlist for management in Delhi NCR. Its NIRF profile scores well on graduation outcomes and outreach, but research is much weaker.
What You Should Know Before Using NDIM Rankings
Use rankings as a first filter, then look deeper.
- Check the course: the NIRF rank is for Management, and the A+ rating is for BBA and BCA.
- NIRF 2025 is the latest rank confirmed here. NDIM's website links to its NIRF 2026 data submission, but that is data, not a rank.
- Check who stands behind your course: AICTE for PGDM, GGSIPU for BBA and BCA.
- Placements: PGDM averaged ₹8.66 LPA in 2025, and NDIM claims 100% placement.
- Fees: PGDM is ₹14,00,000 for the 2027-29 batch. BBA and BCA fees aren't published.

Common Mistakes When Reading NDIM Rankings
- Quoting a 2012 to 2019 media ranking as if it were a 2026 ranking.
- Taking the NIRF Management rank as a BBA or BCA rank.
- Reading the AICTE-CII #1 as an overall #1.
- Mixing up approval, accreditation or an A+ rating with an actual numbered rank.
- Using an IIRF position from some portal without checking the edition.
- Seeing a good rank and skipping the fee and placement check.
Is NDIM Worth It Based on Rankings?
NDIM is approved and accredited, with a verified national NIRF rank of 86. It is not a top-ranked college, and honestly, it doesn't claim to be. Its strength is industry links, graduation outcomes and reported placements. Read the course-level details before you apply.
- Best fit: students who want a management course in Delhi NCR with good industry links.
- Strong points: Graduation Outcomes and Outreach scores in NIRF, AICTE approval and NBA accreditation for PGDM.
- Check first: course-wise placement data, the exact fee for your intake and the latest NIRF edition.
