Classrooms are air-conditioned and ICT-enabled. Projectors, public address systems, mics, audio-visual tools and Wi-Fi are all there. They get natural light and air too, and lectures lean towards discussion and tech, not just blackboard teaching.

The centre has 92 computers on a campus-wide LAN, two servers and Wi-Fi at 40 Mbps round the clock. Students use it for projects, computer practicals and faculty research, and the campus also runs on cloud computing. When you visit, ask one simple thing: can students use the lab after class hours?

The machines have IBM SPSS Statistics Base 21.0, EViews 9.0, Visual Studio 2010 and MS Office, so statistics, econometrics and app development are covered. For PGDM finance students, NDIM mentions labs with Power BI, Tableau and Excel, E-Views, R and Python, plus a Business Simulation Lab. Do ask which software versions are licensed right now (old versions are a common thing).

The air-conditioned library runs on KOHA, with an online catalogue (OPAC), Wi-Fi and charging points for laptops. It has 11,699 books, journals and periodicals, including case studies, annual reports, company profiles and project reports, and it subscribes to over 70 journals. The EBSCO Management Database gives you 6,000+ journals and magazines, 7,000+ business publications, 19,000 company profiles and 6,000+ videos, Harvard Seminar Series included. DELNET connects to 7,950 libraries, and NDIM is a member of AIRC, NDL, E-ShodhSindhu and NICMAN (IIM Ahmedabad). Timings are Monday to Saturday, 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM. It stays shut on 2nd Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. Ask if EBSCO, DELNET and NDL work from home, and how many books you can borrow.

The air-conditioned conference hall seats more than 100 and has an LCD projector. Seminars, guest lectures and presentations happen here. There is also a separate seminar room for teaching.

Boys and girls get separate air-conditioned common rooms. You will find carrom, chess, music systems and reading material there, and the societies use these rooms to rehearse for cultural events.

For BBA and BCA, the official NDIM website says nothing about hostels, and portals that talk about rooms near campus don't agree with each other. For PGDM, NDIM mentions tie-ups with separate boys' and girls' hostels within walking distance, accommodation for married students, and free transport to and from campus. Twin-sharing starts at about ₹11,000 per month. When you visit, ask about hostel or PG options, the rent, the distance, and the route and charges for any college transport.

There is a clean multi-cuisine cafeteria with a modern kitchen. Juices, salads and mini meals are on the menu.

On campus, you can play badminton, table tennis, carrom and chess. NDIM has a tie-up with the DDA Sports Complex Jasola and a membership of Siri Fort Sports Club, and these back the yearly sports fest. Sportacus is the sports society. Ask how the Jasola and Siri Fort access actually works for students.

The medical room has a full-time doctor and nurse. There is a 24x7 ambulance and on-call specialists, and Batra Hospital is within 200 m of the gate, which parents usually find reassuring.

CCTV cameras cover the campus. It is a plastic-free campus with a solar plant, a solar water heater and a 2,500-litre rain water harvesting setup, run with the Centre for Green Initiatives. Architects who design educational buildings planned it, so there are ramps, lifts, a wheelchair and accessible washrooms for students and staff with disabilities.

The cell runs campus drives, job fairs, summer internships, live projects with MNCs and banks, industry visits and mentoring by visiting experts. There is also career counselling with psychometric tests and a personality development programme. Before you decide, ask to see the latest batch placement report with average and highest packages.

Most of student life happens through 13 societies and clubs: Sportacus (sports), Sandarbh (literary), Ruhaniyat (music), Tabiir (dramatics), Meraki (dance), Kalakriti (arts and crafts), Glitterati (fashion), Ikhtiyar (photography), Circle (CSR), the NCC Club, the NSS Club, Rotaract and the Centre for Green Initiatives. Manthan is the big yearly cultural fest.
