How NDIM Admission Works
NDIM uses different routes for different programmes.
Entrance score and academics (PGDM): they look at your Class X, Class XII and graduation marks, along with your score from an accepted exam.
GD and PI (PGDM): if you get shortlisted, you are called for a Group Discussion and a Personal Interview.
GGSIPU merit (BBA and BCA): seats go by CET merit in central counselling, and whatever is left gets filled from the CUET merit list.
Management quota (BBA and BCA): 10% of intake, decided on your Class 12 aggregate and your CET or CUET rank.
Clearing the minimum only puts you in the race. It does not hold a seat for you.
Mind you, NDIM says the final PGDM call depends on how you perform across the board, so a good percentile on its own won't get you in.
Entrance Exams Accepted at NDIM
Which exam or route counts for which programme.
| Route | What It Means | Used For |
|---|---|---|
| CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT, ATMA, GMAT | National and international management tests; scores are used for shortlisting | PGDM |
| State Common Entrance Examinations | Listed on the eligibility page; ask NDIM whether your state exam is accepted | PGDM |
| GGSIPU CET | GGSIPU's common entrance test; admission by CET merit and central counselling | BBA, BCA |
| CUET (NTA) | Vacant seats are filled from the CUET merit list | BBA, BCA |
| Class 12 aggregate plus CET or CUET rank | Merit basis for management quota seats | BBA, BCA |
NDIM Application Process 2026-27
PGDM is a three-step thing. You apply online, you face the GD and PI, and then you read the offer and finish registration. BBA and BCA go another way: register for the CET or CUET, fill your choices on the GGSIPU portal, and once a seat is allotted, you complete enrolment at NDIM.
Step 1: Registering for NDIM
Pick your programme first, then register.
- PGDM: go to the NDIM admissions page and pick the current batch and your programme.
- PGDM: fill the online form with your contact details, academics and entrance-exam score.
- PGDM: pay the ₹1,000 application fee and save the confirmation, the receipt and the reference number (you will need them later, trust me).
- BBA and BCA: finish the compulsory online registration for the GGSIPU CET or the CUET.
- BBA and BCA: fill your choices on ipu.admissions.nic.in and put NDIM in your list.
Documents Required for NDIM Admission
Keep clear scans of these ready.
- Class X mark sheet and certificate
- Class XII mark sheet and certificate
- Graduation degree or provisional certificate, plus every semester mark sheet (PGDM)
- Entrance-test scorecard (PGDM), or the CET or CUET admit card and result (BBA and BCA)
- Government photo ID and recent photographs
- Category certificate, work-experience proof or proof of achievements, only if you are claiming them
- BBA and BCA: GGSIPU seat allotment letter, registration form and fee receipts
- BBA and BCA: character certificate, migration certificate (if you studied outside Delhi), address proof and medical certificate
- Notarised gap-year affidavit, admission verification form and anti-ragging undertakings signed by the student and parents, wherever they apply
Step 2: GD, PI and Counselling
If you have applied for PGDM, keep checking your email and phone for the GD and PI call, and show up for both rounds. BBA and BCA students go through GGSIPU counselling, which covers 90% of seats. And if you are going the Management quota way, the college usually asks you to come in for career counselling or admission guidance.
Step 3: Confirming Your Seat
Got a PGDM offer? Good. Now sit down with the offer letter, fee schedule, payment dates and refund rules before you pay anything. PGDM refunds follow AICTE guidelines. For BBA and BCA, go by the allotment letter, pay the GGSIPU registration and academic fees, and submit your verified documents at NDIM. Keep every receipt. Every one.

Why Students Shortlist NDIM
Where Do You Stand?
Your Admission Planning Timeline
What You Pay in the First Year
Once you say yes to a PGDM seat, plan for the first-year fee, and hostel too if you need one. Hostel and the optional international study tours are not part of the course fee (parents often miss this).
If you pay semester-wise, PGDM costs ₹3,50,000 per semester, plus a yearly convenience charge of ₹6,000.
What Happens After You Join
The Corporate Interface and Placement Cell handles campus drives, job fairs, internships and live projects. PGDM students also go through the Campus to Corporate programme. This is what the Mandatory Disclosure 2026 says about 2025 salaries.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Treating last year's cutoff as a promise for your intake.
- Believing your entrance percentile alone decides PGDM admission.
- Picking up a fee number from an older batch instead of checking the current fee page.
- Planning for the course fee and forgetting hostel, travel and the optional tours.
- Thinking that a big scholarship pool means everyone gets something.
- Getting excited about the highest package without looking at the average and median.
- Missing GD and PI emails, or paying before you have read the refund terms.
