LIET Facilities & Infrastructure

Campus amenities and infrastructure available at LIET.

Updated on October 2026

LIET builds its facilities around what an engineering student actually uses: smart classrooms, tech-enabled labs, an air-conditioned Central Library with 33,000+ books, a startup incubator, the Lloyd Skill Centre, separate hostels for boys and girls, a canteen, a gym and sports areas. Safety is covered by 24x7 CCTV, an anti-ragging squad and a medical room backed by Yatharth Super Specialty Hospital. College buses run on three routes across Delhi NCR. The college describes a 20-acre green campus at Plot No. 3, Knowledge Park II, Greater Noida, though another page and some portals say 10 acres. Below is what each facility offers and what to check when you visit the campus.

Infrastructure / Facilities

Central Library

The Central Library is an air-conditioned building of 672 sq m with Wi-Fi and 152+ seats. It has more than 33,000 books across 3,300+ titles in engineering, MCA and management, along with 54 print periodicals. You'll also find an e-learning section, a competitive-exam section, and a digital library with 10 multimedia access points and KOHA automation. A large self-study hall with laptop charging points stays open from 9 AM to 7 PM, while the library itself runs 9 AM to 5 PM on working days. E-resources cover the AKTU Nalanda E-Consortium (via the Myloft app), DELNET, the National Digital Library of India, NPTEL, Coursera and journals from IEEE, Springer, ASME, ASCE and Elsevier. Under the book bank, you can borrow one book per subject for the whole semester.

Computer and Technology Labs

The labs at LIET are smart and tech-enabled. Portals mention a computer lab, a coder's lab, and AI, robotics, drone, EV and AR/VR labs, plus networking and software engineering labs. Reviews talk about new computers. It's worth asking which labs your branch uses and how many students share a session.

Core Engineering Labs

Portals list electronics, electrical, mechanical and civil labs for ECE, EEE, Mechanical and Civil students, along with physics, chemistry and language labs for first-year work.

Smart Classrooms, Auditorium and Seminar Hall

Classrooms are tech-enabled and have projectors, and a few reviews mention air-conditioning. Seminar halls and an auditorium on the campus host guest lectures and events. One reviewer rated classroom quality as average, so see it for yourself.

Lloyd Skill Centre and LTBIF Incubator

At the Lloyd Skill Centre, workshops and certification courses are offered in AI, deep learning, prompt engineering, cyber security and EV technology. The Lloyd Technology and Business Incubator Foundation (LTBIF) is recognised by the Ministry of MSME and approved by UP Startup, and it provides workspace, mentoring, funding help, prototype development, legal and admin support and networking. The college also lists an E-Cell, an Institute Innovation Cell, IPR support and DSIR-SIRO recognition. One portal mentions a ₹2.5 crore startup grant, so ask what's actually available to students.

Boys and Girls Hostels

Boys and girls have separate hostels with furnished rooms, in single and shared options, and some rooms are air-conditioned. Meals, purified drinking water, round-the-clock security, CCTV and wardens are included. The college doesn't publish the fee, but portals report ₹80,000 to ₹1.5 lakh a year, depending on room type. Seats depend on availability, so ask early. Some students stay in nearby PGs for about ₹9,000 a month with food.

Canteen and Store

There's a canteen and a convenience store on the campus. One portal says the canteen serves food for long hours, and reviews rate the hostel food as average to decent.

Sports and Gym

The college's facilities page lists a gym. Portals mention cricket, football, volleyball, badminton, table tennis and chess. Ask which courts are open to you and whether they come with the fee.

Medical Care

The medical room on campus has basic facilities, a bed and regular visits from a doctor. First aid is available 24/7, along with a wheelchair and an ambulance, and there's a tie-up with Yatharth Super Specialty Hospital in Greater Noida. A mental-health support line is also listed on the website.

Safety and Student Support

CCTV covers indoor and outdoor areas 24x7 and is monitored by senior staff. A strict anti-ragging policy is backed by a committee and a squad, and there are also a women's helpline and grievance cell, mentoring and a mental-health support number. College transport runs on three routes across Delhi NCR near several metro stations. The transport fee for 7 months is paid in advance and can't be refunded.
