A Note on Different Numbers
Portals quote LIET cutoffs from different rounds, quotas and categories, which is why their numbers don't agree. Some give 45% as the B.Tech minimum, while the college page says "as per AICTE/AKTU norms". Every figure on this page is shown with its year and round.
What Cutoff Means at LIET
For B.Tech, the cutoff is the weakest JEE Main rank that still got a LIET seat in a UPTAC round. For BCA and MCA, portals quote CUET scores. LIET runs its own test or interview for direct admission.
Why LIET Ranks Run So Deep
LIET is a private college, so its closing ranks are far higher numbers than those at government colleges. That's good news if your JEE Main rank is modest, since ranks in the lakhs have got seats here. Even so, meeting the minimum doesn't guarantee a seat.
