LIET Courses 2026-27: B.Tech CSE, AI and ML, Data Science, Cyber Security, VLSI, BCA, MCA and M.Tech
LIET stands for Lloyd Institute of Engineering & Technology, and you'll find it in Knowledge Park II, Greater Noida. Four courses make up the menu: B.Tech, M.Tech, BCA and MCA. B.Tech is where most of the choice lies, with nine branches. Four of them are computer science, namely core CSE plus the AI and ML, Data Science and Cyber Security versions. And if you've finished a diploma, or a B.Sc. with Maths, B.Tech doesn't have to begin in year one for you. You can join in the second.
Everything here is full-time and follows the AKTU Lucknow syllabus. What LIET piles on top is the interesting part: a skill centre, an incubator, tie-ups with IBM, Oracle, Microsoft and AWS Academy, and labs for AI, robotics, drones, EVs and AR/VR (portals list these).
We'll take you through each course. What it covers, who it suits, how admission works, roughly what it costs, and what you can do afterwards.
LIET Admission 2026-27: What's Open
The 2026-27 admission page covers B.Tech, M.Tech, BCA and MCA, and nothing else.

How to Choose the Right LIET Course
Begin from your own situation. Finished Class 12 with Physics and Maths and you want engineering? Put B.Tech CSE and its AI and ML, Data Science and Cyber Security tracks next to ECE, EEE, Mechanical and Civil. Software work appeals, but a full engineering degree doesn't? Try BCA. Diploma or B.Sc. in hand? Lateral entry gets you a year back. Already graduated? MCA or M.Tech.
Then weigh what will really matter to you: the subjects and labs, internship options, eligibility, what you'll pay across all years (hostel too), scholarship conditions, and the jobs you're after.
Who Teaches at LIET
LIET puts its faculty list on the website. Its hiring notices want Ph.D. holders with first-class academic records, plus two years of experience for Assistant Professors and eight for Associate Professors. Recent notices were for CSE, AI and ML, Data Science, Cyber Security, MCA, Physics and Electrical Engineering, so that's where the college is expanding. If research or a niche area matters to you, look up that department's faculty and labs before deciding.
Labs and Resources Behind the Courses
| Course | Labs and Resources |
|---|---|
| CSE and specialisations | Computer lab, coder's lab; AI, robotics, drone, EV and AR/VR labs listed by portals |
| ECE, EEE, VLSI | Electronics and electrical labs |
| Mechanical and Civil | Mechanical and civil labs, workshops |
