FIIB Scholarships 2026-27: TAP, Future Leaders Fellowship, Need-Based and Merit Awards
Last updated: October 2026
Does FIIB give scholarships? Yes, quite a few. Fortune Institute of International Business, New Delhi, lists the Tuition Assistance Programme (TAP), Need-Based Scholarships (NBS), the RK Shrivastava Scholarship and the Future Leaders Fellowship for its full-time PGDM and PGDM-FM students.
The big numbers: TAP goes up to Rs 2,80,000 per student, and the Future Leaders Fellowship covers 100% of PGDM tuition for a handful of selected fellows. FIIB says it puts over Rs 22.5 crore a year into scholarships.
But "up to" means up to. Each scheme has its own rules and selection, so check eligibility, deadline, what fee it covers and when you actually get the money, all in writing.
Important: FIIB Scholarships Are Not Automatic
FIIB's Student Handbook says offers are communicated formally and depend on verification and conditions. Wait for the written award.
What this means for you
- Maximum is not guaranteed: Rs 2,80,000 is the TAP ceiling, not everyone's amount.
- Conditions apply: attendance, GPA, conduct, PDP and fee clearance.
- Paid later: the handbook says payment comes after completion and a convocation NOC.
- Separate schemes: TAP, NBS, RK Shrivastava and the Fellowship have different rules.
Ask admissions which schemes are open for your intake.
How FIIB Scholarships Work
Merit and merit-cum-need support.
- Academics, entrance score and work experience can count.
- Diversity, special-category status and achievements count for TAP.
- Financial need counts for NBS and the President Enable Scholarship.
- First-year CGPA decides the RK Shrivastava award.
- Leadership selection decides the Future Leaders Fellowship.
- FIIB says there are five scholarship categories.

Is a FIIB Scholarship Worth Going For?
With a Rs 12,85,000 fee, even part of TAP helps a lot, and the Fellowship covers full tuition. Just remember the conditions and the payment timing. Ask these before you accept:
- Am I eligible for my programme and intake?
- Fixed amount or percentage of tuition?
- Which fee parts are covered?
- In the offer letter or a separate letter?
- What cut-offs, interviews or nominations apply?
- Which attendance, GPA, conduct and PDP rules?
- When is it confirmed and paid?
- Can I use it with a loan or instalments?
