FIIB Ranking 2026: IIRF, India Today, Business Today, Outlook, AACSB and NIRF Status

Every FIIB rank, accreditation and award, and how to read them.

What's FIIB's rank? Tricky question, because nobody's got one confirmed number. Look around and you'll find IIRF 2025 saying 75 (or 78), India Today 2025 saying 81, Business Today 2025 saying 55 or 81, Outlook 2025 saying 118. We couldn't match any of them to the real tables.

What FIIB itself confirms is AACSB accreditation, announced in November 2025. FIIB says fewer than 6% of business schools worldwide have it, around 1,050+ schools and 27 in India. Then there's Great Place to Work for 2023 to 2025, the Women version in 2025, and a Positive Impact Rating, all reported by FIIB.

NIRF? FIIB submitted data for NIRF 2025 Management (ID IR-M-S-770), but no numbered rank turned up.

FIIB Recognition at a Glance

The short version.

Awards and accreditation aren't rankings.

  • AACSB accredited: Announced November 2025; under 6% of B-schools worldwide.
  • GHRDC 3rd in Delhi: Private B-schools in Delhi, 2025 (via portals).
  • IIRF 75 / 78: 2025, via portals.
  • Positive Impact Rating Level 5: Pioneering B-School, 2026, as reported by FIIB.
  • Great Place to Work: 2023-2025; for Women 2025.
  • AMBA and BGA Excellence Award 2025: Culture, Diversity and Inclusion (via MBAUniverse).

FIIB AACSB Accreditation

FIIB's blog (13 November 2025) says AACSB International accredited the school, presented on campus by AACSB's President and CEO. It's a quality stamp, not a rank. Some older portal pages say "member", the official word is "accredited". Check AACSB's directory to be sure.

FIIB IIRF Ranking 2025

Hitbullseye says 75, CollegeDekho and Getmyuni say 78. Three places apart for the same list. Find the actual IIRF table, category and year before quoting.

FIIB India Today and Business Today 2025

India Today shows 81 via portals, though they describe the category differently. Business Today is messier, CollegeBatch says 55 and an MBAUniverse banner says 81. Treat both as unverified.

FIIB Outlook and GHRDC 2025

Outlook 2025 shows 118 for MBA on portals. GHRDC 2025? That one has FIIB at number 3, but only among private B-schools within Delhi. Comparing that to an all-India rank makes no sense.

FIIB NIRF Status

FIIB's compliance page carries its NIRF 2025 Management data (ID IR-M-S-770). Submitting data isn't the same as being ranked. NIRF ranks the top 100 in Management individually, and FIIB wasn't found in that list. Check the official NIRF tables yourself.

FIIB Positive Impact Rating

On the Positive Impact Rating, FIIB says it went from Level 4 ("Transforming") in 2025 to Level 5 ("Pioneering B-School") in 2026, the highest level according to their July 2026 post. Worth noting, this rating looks at impact on students and faculty. Salaries and cutoffs don't come into it.

Portal Ratings for FIIB

The portals also hand out their own grades. Careers360 says AAA+ for 2026, Collegedunia has it #84 out of 350, MBAUniverse puts it #56 and grade AA. Fine to glance at, but these are the websites' own scores.

Why FIIB's Rank Changes From List to List

Same school, different numbers. Why?

  • Different categories: overall, private or regional.
  • Different tables, or copying errors on portals.
  • Different scoring weights.
  • Original tables weren't confirmed in this review.

AICTE, AIU and NBA

Approvals then. Portals say AICTE has approved both PGDM and PGDM-FM, AIU counts the PGDM as an MBA, and NBA accredited it. Since FIIB's autonomous, the PGDM is FIIB's own diploma, no university involved. Their NIRF file shows 300 sanctioned seats for 2022-23 and 2023-24. For your batch, ask to see the AICTE letter, AIU certificate and NBA certificate with dates.

What to Check Beyond FIIB Rankings

Use this list.

  • PGDM curriculum, specialisations, internships and live projects.
  • Current fee, commitment fee, deposit, hostel and other costs.
  • Specialisation-wise placements with median, eligible students and recruiters.
  • Faculty profiles and industry partnerships.
  • Current AICTE letter, AIU equivalence, NBA certificate and AACSB status.
  • Location, transport, housing and student support.

FIIB Rank vs Placement Outcomes

FIIB's NIRF placement data next to the ranks.

Graduating YearGraduatingPlacedMedian Salary
2021-2210781Rs 4,50,000
2022-2310698Rs 6,85,000
2023-248886Rs 6,63,000

The NIRF median is much lower than the Rs 14 LPA top-20% figure; they measure different groups.

Rank, Accreditation, Approval: What's the Difference?

  • Ranking: A position on a publisher's list.
  • AACSB / NBA: Quality accreditation with validity dates.
  • AICTE approval: Permission to run the programme.
  • AIU equivalence: Treats the PGDM as equal to an MBA.
  • Placement data: Job outcomes for one batch, not a rank.

Common Mistakes When Reading FIIB Rankings

  • Quoting a portal rank as FIIB's official rank.
  • Comparing GHRDC's Delhi list with national ranks.
  • Treating the NIRF data submission as a NIRF rank.
  • Calling AACSB or PIR a ranking.
  • Using the top-20% package as the class average.
  • Picking only on rank.

Is FIIB a Good Choice Based on Recognition?

So overall? FIIB has AICTE approval and AACSB accreditation (since 2025), and its NIRF filing has placements climbing from roughly 76% to 98% in three years, with medians of Rs 4.5 to 6.9 lakh. Online ranks come from portals and clash with each other, so take them lightly.

  • Good for: students wanting an AACSB-accredited PGDM in South Delhi.
  • Strong point: placement rate trend in NIRF data.
  • Check first: the original ranking tables and current approvals.
