What the FOSTIIMA Cutoff Means

A cutoff is the lowest score that moves you to the next round. At FOSTIIMA it works as a shortlist filter. Clear it and you go on to the written test, GD and PI, where the real decision gets made.

Why There's No Official List

FOSTIIMA hasn't published a list, so the benchmark here shows where the school would like you to be. Use it to aim, not as a promise.

FOSTIIMA Exam-Wise Expected Cutoff 2026

Five exams are accepted. Here's what to aim for in each.

CAT and XAT Cutoff

Target 75 percentile or higher in either one. XAT counts the same as CAT for shortlisting and for the general scholarship. CAT 2026 is on November 29, 2026.

CMAT, GMAT and FEAT Cutoff

CMAT and GMAT candidates are shortlisted as per the school's own norms, so a good score in either helps. FEAT shortlisting goes on merit. It's handy if you skipped CAT or XAT, or want another shot.

FOSTIIMA Academic Cutoff

School and college marks count as much as the entrance score.

Marks Needed

QualificationMinimumPreferred
Class 1060% and above
Class 1260% and above
Graduation50%60% and above

Why 60% Helps

60% or more across all three keeps you in good shape for the final round. And 60% in Class 12 and graduation gets you a Rs 25,000 academic scholarship.

What Does 75 Percentile Mean?

CAT and XAT give you a percentile, not marks. It shows how you did compared with everyone else who sat the paper.

Percentile Explained

PercentileWhat It Means
75 percentileYou scored higher than about 75% of test-takers
85 percentileYou scored higher than about 85% of test-takers
95 percentileYou scored higher than about 95% of test-takers

Why Raw Marks Change

Percentile depends on how everyone else does. So the raw marks needed for 75 percentile move up or down each year with the paper's difficulty.
