PGDM at FOSTIIMA Business School
A two-year, full-time PGDM over four semesters, approved by AICTE and equal to an MBA as per AIU.
The school says the course has four aims, and honestly they're pretty sensible. One, get the basics of business right (finance, marketing, operations, people). Two, get comfortable with data, which here means advanced Excel, Power BI, Tableau and some predictive analytics. Three, learn to lead a team. There's a lot of group work for this, plus a leadership camp at an exotic location outside Delhi. Four, be ready for a job on day one, which is where the two-month internship and company visits come in.
Classes? Mostly cases. Harvard ones and IIM ones. You read about a company in trouble, tear the problem apart, fight it out in class, then say what you'd do. Teachers want numbers and industry trends behind your argument, not opinions. There are labs too, for analytics, reports and digital marketing work.
Eligibility is a bachelor's degree in any stream, 50% minimum. They'd rather see 60% in Class 10, 12 and graduation, and 75 percentile plus in CAT or XAT. You pay the Rs 11,95,000 fee in 7 parts. A laptop, books and study material, the leadership camp and a 4 to 5 day trip to a university abroad all come out of that same fee.

A two-year track for candidates with high CAT and XAT scores.
The Elite batch runs next to the regular PGDM and costs Rs 12.5 Lakh, so Rs 55,000 over the normal fee. Only CAT and XAT scores count here.

Eight Skill Courses Inside the PGDM
Every PGDM student takes these. Recruiters ask about them.
Predictive analytics is about using old data to guess what happens next, like next month's sales or which customers may leave. Managers plan stock, budgets and campaigns with it. Advanced Excel goes into pivots, lookups, financial models and dashboards (finance and ops people live in Excel, so this one's useful).
Digital marketing is search, social, content and paid ads, and how you check whether any of it worked. Business analytics is cleaning up messy company data and making a call from it. Big data analytics is the same idea when the data's too big for normal tools.
AI and prompt engineering teaches you to get good, accurate output from AI tools for research and reports. Power BI and Tableau are dashboard tools managers use to track numbers at a glance. Fund accounting is how mutual funds and other funds keep their books and report to investors.
