Bennett University Scholarships 2026-27: Eligibility, Amount, Merit Criteria and How to Apply

Last updated: October 2026

Bennett University in Greater Noida offers scholarships and tuition-fee concessions to eligible students across selected undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The benefit can depend on academic marks, entrance-test scores, the programme selected and the student's personal circumstances.

The main route is a merit-based admission scholarship linked to programme-specific Class XII marks and/or entrance scores such as JEE Main, CUET, SAT, IB, CAT or design tests. Merit brackets reach up to 100% of tuition in some programmes. Bennett also offers sibling, single girl child, alumni, defence personnel and sports concessions, and the Chancellor's Scholarship Fund, The Vineet Jain Scholarship.

Before you plan your budget, note one important update: the official scholarship page says the AY 2026-27 scholarship allocation is fully exhausted. This page explains every Bennett scholarship, the published merit criteria, terms, how to apply for the next cycle, and the questions to ask before paying fees.

Important Notice: Bennett University Scholarships for AY 2026-27 Are Closed

Bennett University's official scholarship page currently states that the scholarship allocation for Academic Year 2026-27 has been exhausted and no further scholarship applications will be accepted for this cycle. Admissions may continue subject to seat availability, but without a scholarship. The university says applications for AY 2027-28 will open shortly.

What this means for you

  • Applying for 2026-27 now: you can still seek admission subject to seat availability, but without a scholarship.
  • Planning for 2027-28: watch the official scholarship page and apply early, as scholarships are limited and generally first-come, first-served.
  • Do not assume the same cut-offs or benefits will apply in the next cycle; check the new policy.
  • Questions: email admissions@bennett.edu.in.

Scholarship availability can change at any time. Confirm the current status with the admissions office before relying on a scholarship.

How Bennett University Scholarships Work

Bennett's scholarship system follows a few clear principles that apply across programmes:

  1. Merit scholarships are linked to qualifying-exam marks and/or approved entrance-test scores.
  2. Brackets are programme-specific, so the same marks can lead to different scholarship percentages in different courses.
  3. Scholarships are usually applied as a tuition-fee concession, subject to university policy.
  4. Scholarships are limited and generally allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
  5. If you qualify for more than one, the highest-value benefit is generally awarded.
  6. Continuation in later years can depend on maintaining a programme-specific minimum CGPA.

Final selection is at the university's discretion.

Bennett University Scholarship Terms and Conditions

These rules govern eligibility, award and continuation of Bennett scholarships.

  1. Scholarships are limited Scholarships are generally allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Meeting the published cut-off does not guarantee an award.

  2. Only the highest benefit applies If a student qualifies for more than one scholarship, the university generally awards the highest-value benefit under its guidelines rather than combining all benefits.

Do not budget on the assumption that multiple scholarships will be added together.

  3. Continuation depends on performance Continuation in later years can depend on maintaining the required CGPA and meeting the university's academic, conduct and other conditions. The minimum CGPA can vary by programme.
  4. Scores from other boards may be normalised Scores from boards other than CBSE may be normalised as determined by the university's Scholarship and Admissions Committee.
  5. Award is confirmed in the offer Scholarship details are included in the offer extended to selected candidates, and eligibility is verified during document verification or registration.
  6. Policies can change Scholarship policies, eligibility criteria and availability may change at the university's discretion.

Confirm the latest policy in writing before relying on a scholarship in your budget.

  7. Common mistakes to avoid Many students lose out on a scholarship because of avoidable errors.
    • Assuming a cut-off automatically guarantees a scholarship.
    • Using the scholarship percentage of a different course as if it applies to every programme.
    • Entering marks or test scores that do not match official documents.
    • Missing document-verification deadlines or failing to give evidence for a special concession.
    • Budgeting on the assumption that multiple scholarships will be added together.
    • Overlooking renewal requirements for later years.

How to Apply for a Bennett University Scholarship

There is no separate scholarship exam; your eligibility is assessed through the admission application.

  1. Check the official scholarship page for the exact criteria for your programme and intake.
  2. Complete the university application and enter your academic marks and entrance-test scores accurately.
  3. Keep your Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets, entrance-test scorecard and programme-specific documents ready.
  4. For a special concession, prepare supporting documents, such as proof of sibling relationship, a single-girl-child declaration, defence-service proof, sports certificates or financial-need documents.
  5. Review the admission offer carefully; scholarship details are included in it and verified at document verification or registration.
  6. Before paying fees, ask the admissions team to confirm the scholarship percentage, duration, amount, renewal conditions and the fee component it will be adjusted against.

For AY 2026-27, scholarship allocation is currently exhausted; use these steps for the next cycle.

Is a Bennett University Scholarship Worth It?

A scholarship can reduce tuition and make a programme more manageable, especially when the benefit continues beyond the first year. Compare the written scholarship offer with the complete fee structure, including registration, hostel, meals, transport and other charges. Before paying, ask these questions:

  • Which scholarship am I eligible for under my exact programme and admission year?
  • Is the scholarship available for this intake, or has the allocation already closed?
  • What is the exact percentage and rupee value of the scholarship?
  • Does it apply only to first-year tuition or throughout the programme?
  • What CGPA, attendance, conduct or no-backlog conditions apply for renewal?
  • Can I combine a merit award with a sibling, single girl child, alumni, defence or sports concession?
  • What documents are required, and by what date?
  • Will the scholarship and its renewal conditions be confirmed in writing in my admission offer?
